[1] Heard Mr. A. Viscount, learned counsel for the appellant.
[2] By the present appeal, the appellant challenged the
conviction order dated 05.12.2025 passed by the Ld. Fast Track
Special Court No. 1, Manipur in Special Trial (POCSO) Case No. 14 of
2024 whereby the appellant was convicted under Section 417 of IPC
read with Section 6 of POCSO Act, 2012 and order of Sentence dated
15.12.2025 whereby the appellant was directed to undergo rigorous
imprisonment of one year under Section 417 of IPC and 20 years of
rigorous imprisonment under Section 6 of POCSO Act and also a fine
of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh) failing which he is to undergo
simple imprisonment of another four months.
[3] Issue notice to the main appeal as well as application for
interim relief.

[4] Mrs. RK. Emily, learned Dy. G.A. assisting Mr. H.
Samarjit, learned PP accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 &

2. Hence, service is complete on all the respondents.

[5] Appeal is admitted. Call for Trial Court Record.
[6] Learned PP, prays for three weeks’ time for filing
objection to the application for suspension of conviction and sentence
passed by the Trial Court.
