1. The instant miscellaneous petition has been filed on behalf of
the petitioner, Harvindrajeet Singh, seeking release of his
vehicle, namely a Thar bearing Registration No. PB-53-E-
0070, of which he is the registered owner. The said vehicle
was seized by the respondent authorities in connection with
FIR No. 32/27, registered at the office of the Regional Forest
Officer, Stage-II, Unit 4th, RD Bhurasar, District Bikaner,
under Sections 9, 51, 2(16), 39 and 50 of the Wild Life
(Protection) Act, 1972.
1.1. It is pertinent to note that the son of the petitioner was
apprehended by the police in connection with the following
FIRs: FIR Nos. 16/25 & 36/25 of Police Station Bajju, FIR
No. 17/25 of Police Station Ranjeetpura, and FIR No. 12/25

of Police Station Hadan. The vehicle that in his possession
was subsequently released by the Judicial Magistrate
through an order dated 02.03.2025, in the exercise of
powers conferred under Section 457 of the Cr.P.C. (Section
503 of the BNSS).
