This reference being made under Section 18 of Land
Acquisition Act, 1894 (L.A. Act. for short), by the
respondent No.1/SLAO, Bengaluru.
.2. The brief facts of the case are as follows:
The respondent No.1 has acquired the property
bearing old Sy.No.22 new Survey No. 22/2 measuring 3
acres 34 guntas, situated at Kothanur village, Uttarahalli
Hobli, Bangaluru South Taluka for the purpose of
formation of J.P. Nagar. The respondent No.2 is a
beneficiary. Preliminary notification was issued on
23.03.1988 and it was published in the Gazette on
26.05.1988. Final notification was issued on 19.10.1994
and award passed on 04.10.1995. The respondent No.1
paid total award amount of Rs.9,11,662/- to the
claimants. Possession of the property taken on
03.02.1996.
