About the Opportunity

Centre for Civil Society is hiring an Intern.

Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of social sciences, education, public policy, data science, communications, or related fields.
  • Strong online research skills with attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of the education policy landscape in India
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Comfortable working with data in spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced research environment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct systematic online research to identify policy stakeholders working in education (government bodies, researchers, think-tanks, policy professionals, etc).
  • Maintain and update a live internal database of policymakers, researchers, and influencers relevant to CCS’s work on education including verified contact information, roles, affiliations, areas of expertise, and links to publications or news.
  • Track latest news, media coverage, and public discussions involving relevant education experts and institutions.
  • Prepare detailed stakeholder profiles to provide an informed overview of their professional background, work highlights, and thematic interests.
  • Assist with data collating, cleaning and formatting to ensure database accuracy and usability.

Duration

minimum 6 weeks (40 hours per week) or equivalent hours (if part-time)

Date of Joining

23 February 2026 (applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis)

Stipend

Paid internship compensation, aligned with industry standards

Location

New Delhi CCS office/ Hybrid
