This Criminal Petition has been filed under
Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973
(for short, ‘Cr.P.C.’) by the petitioner/accused No.4
seeking to quash the proceedings against him in
C.C.No.421 of 2017 on the file of the I Additional Judicial
First Class Magistrate, Khammam, for the offences
punishable under Sections 498-A, 506 of the Indian Penal
Code, 1860 (for short ‘IPC’) and Sections 3 and 4 of the
Dowry Prohibition A Court, 1961.
