1. The instant criminal appeal under Section 415 of the

Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 20231 (corresponding to

Section 374(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 2) has

been preferred by the appellant against the judgment dated

19.10.2024, passed by the learned Special Judge, NDPS Act

Cases, District Jalore3, in Sessions Case No. 05/2017. By the said

judgment, the appellant was convicted for the offences punishable

under Sections 8/15 and 8/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and

Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 4, as well as Sections 279, 337,
