CRIMINAL PETITION No.6240 of 2024
ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ‘Cr.P.C.,1973′) seeking quashment of
the proceedings against the petitioners in Crime No.122 of 2024 of
Saidabad Police Station, Hyderabad.
2. The petitioners are arrayed as accused Nos.2 to 6 in Crime No.122
of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406,
498-A, 494 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860
and Sections 3, 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (for short ‘AP
Act’) .
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that charge sheet
was filed against the petitioners and numbered as C.C.No.4229 of 2025.
4. Having regard to the development in the proceedings and as the
petitioners have to reconstruct and strategize the pleadings, granting
liberty to the petitioners to file appropriate application to challenge the
precipitated proceedings, if so advised, this Criminal Petition is disposed
of.
As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand
closed.
