Ahmedabad: The solid waste management department of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Thursday conducted inspections at various units in the western part of the city and issued notices to 110 units for violating rules. The department sealed 21 units — 16 in Naranpura — for public littering and imposed a total fine of Rs 1.65 lakh. The civic body removed an illegal construction in Jamalpur and issued notices to property tax defaulters in various areas of the city.
