Just like Mufasa never backs down from protecting Simba, Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan never leaves a chance to show his undying support for his son Abhishek Bachchan. Be it an appreciation post for his movies, or liking his interviews, Big B has a strong social media game to show his support for his son. Recently, the actor even defended Junior Bachchan, when a fan called out Abhishek for speaking in English instead of Hindi.
Amitabh Bachchan in a recent post shared a clip from one of Abhishek’s recent interviews, where the actor spoke about the “merit of resilience” over “instant gratification.” Though the post was liked by many, one of the followers mentioned that Abhishek should speak in Hindi instead of English. Amitabh reacted to the comment and called out the fan’s language.
Sharing Abhishek’s clip on X, Amitabh wrote, “Profound and filled with merit .. your humanity and your departure from any vanity as an actor in I WANT TO TALK , is what makes you superior!! God’s blessings, grandparents’ blessings, love from the whole family. Good always results in good and you are very good. (sic)”

Soon after the post was shared on X, a follower requested Abhishek to talk in Hindi because they didn’t understand English well. “Sir please ask Junior Bachchan to talk in Hindi. I don’t understand English very well,” the fan wrote in Hindi but used the English alphabet for the comment. Responding to the same, Amitabh used Devnagri and wrote, “Wow! What a point of view! Amazing! You ask him to talk in Hindi but you ask to write in English alphabet.”
वाह ! क्या दृष्टिकोण है आपका ! अद्भुत ! बोलने को कहते हो हिन्दी में, और लिखते हो अंग्रेज़ी अक्षरों में ! 🤣 https://t.co/N8cScdFCIt
