The petitions filed under Section 166 of IMV Act are
partly allowed.
In M.V.C.No.5502/2022, the respondents shall either
jointly or severally liable to pay Rs.42,348/- with current
and future interest at the rate of 6% p.a., to
petitioner/P.W.1- Giridhar towards compensation.
In M.V.C.No.5503/2022 the respondents shall either
jointly or severally liable to pay Rs.23,872/- with current
and future interest at the rate of 6% p.a., to
petitioner/P.W.2-Sheethal towards compensation.
In both the cases, the respondent No.2-Insurer shall
deposit compensation amount within 3 months from today.
In both the cases, after deposit of the compensation
amount, entire compensation amount and interest may be
released to the petitioners by crediting the same to their
bank account directly.
