During an election rally in Bihar’s Begusarai district, Amit Shah confidently stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government will successfully introduce the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the country after emerging victorious in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
Amit Shah expressed his disagreement with the claims made by the leaders of the INDI Alliance, who asserted that they would implement triple talaq and Muslim personal law if they were to come into power at the Centre. He reassured the crowd that neither would the opposition form the government, nor would triple talaq and Muslim personal law be put into practice. Instead, the BJP would maintain its position of power and successfully implement the Uniform Civil Code.
Furthermore, Amit Shah addressed the opposition leaders’ statements regarding the restoration of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He boldly informed Rahul Gandhi that as long as even a single BJP worker remained alive, nobody could bring back Article 370 in J&K. It was a decisive statement that showcased the determination of the BJP to uphold their positions and policies.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Monday that the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership is committed to introducing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in India post the Lok Sabha elections.
During a campaign event in Bihar’s Begusarai district, Amit Shah stated: “The INDI Alliance leaders claim that if they come into power at the Centre, they will enforce triple talaq and Muslim personal law across the nation. They will not come to power, and neither will these laws be implemented. The BJP will continue in power and bring in the UCC.”
“Opposition leaders are also promising to reinstate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. I want to tell Rahul Gandhi that as long as there is even one BJP worker alive, Article 370 will not return to J&K,” he emphasized.
