About the Role
Join the Privacy/Legal Team as part of WTW’s Data Breach IR Investigation Team. This role involves end-to-end incident investigation, including intake, triage, written analysis, and coordination across teams for resolution of security and privacy incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Intake, triage, and documentation of security incidents
- Analyze incident reports and escalate based on severity and compliance timelines
- Communicate findings and incident updates in a clear, professional written format
- Coordinate with legal and other stakeholders during investigation and resolution
- Review incident details to identify missing/misstated information
- Identify and apply relevant contractual clauses and legal obligations
- Track and apply privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) to incident outcomes
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to identify trends and gaps in security controls
- Ensure all responses align with industry best practices and internal standards
Eligibility Criteria
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Strong interest in legal and privacy-related domains
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Highly proficient in computer usage and business/legal writing
- Able to communicate complex issues clearly in writing
- Demonstrated experience working under deadlines with strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Law degree or BSc with law component (or equivalent qualification)
- Understanding of cybersecurity (preferred but not essential)
- Familiarity with privacy regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, etc. (preferred)
- Possession of privacy-related certifications (preferred)
