1. This petition for bail is the first petition, filed by the petitioner
under Section 483 of ‘the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023’. This
petition has been filed with regard to a case arising out of FIR No.91 dated
16.11.2025 Police Station Jhander, District Amritsar Rural, for the commission
of offence punishable under Sections 109, 308(4), 351(2), 3(5) of Bharatiya
Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 25, 27 of Arms Act, 1959.
2. Briefly stating the facts emerging from record are that the FIR of
this case came into being at the instance of ‘Princedeep Singh’, hereinafter
being referred to as ‘complainant’ only. It was alleged by the above-named
complainant that on 15.11.2025 he received a threatening call from an
unknown person demanding Rs.50,00,000/-. According to complainant, he was

threatened that if money would not be paid, they would kill him and his family
members. Acting upon the complaint, investigation was initiated and it came
on surface that the calls were made by using virtual numbers from foreign
countries, though no ransom was actually paid. Subsequently, on 16.11.2025 at
about 06:45 PM, when the complainant was present at his clinic, two
unidentified persons came on a motorcycle and fired gunshots at him.
However, the complainant narrowly escaped.
