[2] Hearing commenced. [3] Mr. W. Darakishwor, learned senior PCCG who is Special Public
Prosecutor in this case, appearing for Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is
directed to produce before this Court (in the next listing), CBI file pertaining to
letter No. 1626 dated 31-12-2018 addressed to the Joint Secretary/CVO, MoD,
GoI, seeking sanction for prosecution for offences u/s 302, 342, 201, 34 IPC
against, (i) Girish Nair (A-1), the then Major, 19 Rajput (Bikaner), Now Retd.,
(ii) Rahul Bal Mishra (A-2), the then Captain, 19 Rajput (Bikaner), (iii)
Ranbeer Singh (A-5), the then Havaldar, 19 Rajput (Bikaner) and (iv) Abhay
Pratap Singh (A-6), the then Sepoy, 19 Rajput (Bikaner), CEO, Ministry of
Defense, Government of India, about which there is allusion in paragraph 86 of
the final report of CBI dated 30-06-2020.
[4] Special Public Prosecutor is also requested to ensure that an officer
familiar with the facts of the case and more particularly the file containing the
afore-referred letter seeking sanction is present in Court for enabling him to assist
this Court better.
