2. The captioned appeals are taken up for hearing analogously, the
same having been instituted by the appellant – State challenging the
common judgment dated 29.10.2002 rendered by the Additional
Sessions Judge, Panchmahal in Sessions Case Nos. 132 of 2002, 215
of 2002 and 300 of 2002 for the offences punishable under Sections
307, 302, 120 (B), 143, 147, 148, 149, 436 and 435 of the Indian
Penal Code, 1860, (for short, “I.P.C.”) and under Section 135 of the
Bombay Police Act, 1951.
