About the Seminar
The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed almost every sphere of human life, and the criminal justice system is no exception. Today, AI-powered forensic technologies, digital investigations, biometric identification, forensic genomics, cyber forensics, machine learning, and predictive analytics are redefining how crimes are investigated, evidence is analysed, and justice is delivered.
While these innovations offer remarkable opportunities for improving efficiency, accuracy, and transparency, they also raise significant legal, ethical, constitutional, and human rights concerns. Questions surrounding privacy, algorithmic bias, admissibility of AI-generated evidence, accountability, explainability, and data governance demand urgent scholarly attention.
Recognizing these emerging challenges and opportunities, T.S. Mishra Law School is organising this International Seminar to provide an interdisciplinary platform for meaningful discussions among experts from law, forensic science, criminology, cybersecurity, medicine, public policy, psychology, and technology.
