counsel for the applicant.
2. Mr. B.C. Joshi, learned AGA for the
State.
3. The instant petition is preferred by the
in-laws and brother (devar) of husband of
respondent no.2 for challenging the
proceeding of Criminal Case No.2884 of 2025
State vs. Aniket Gairola & others wherein the
applicants have been summoned to face the
trial for the offences punishable under
Sections 323, 354, 498-A, 506 IPC read with
Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
4. Learned counsel for the applicants, on
instructions, submits that the applicants and
respondent no.2 are ready for their amicable
settlement since the dispute appears to be
due to matrimonial discord in between the
respondent no.2-wife and her husband.
5. Issue notice to respondent no.2
returnable at an early date.
6. Steps to be taken within a week
through whatsapp, email or by dasti.
7. Put up this matter on 19.08.2026
8. On that day the husband of respondent
no.2 and respondent no.2-wife shall join
proceeding through V.C. for the purpose of
their amicable settlement.
9. Till the next date of listing, further
proceeding of Criminal Case No.2884 of 2025
State vs. Aniket Gairola & others pending in
the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial
Magistrate-I, Dehradun shall remain stayed.
