1. Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the
Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for grant of
regular bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.0061 dated 12.6.2023, under
Sections 21-B, 27-A, 29 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances
Act, 1985 and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station
Sadar Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur.
2. The gravamen of the FIR in question pertains to the recovery of
15 grams of heroin and ₹54,44,650/- which has been termed as drug
money, 6 pistols, 6 magazines and 39 live cartridges.
