    Gurugram, July 31: Judicial work at the District and Sessions Court, Gurugram, has been suspended on Friday after the District Bar Association (DBA) received a bomb threat via its official email ID regarding the court complex.

    District Bar Association Issues Urgent Advisory

    The District Bar Association issued an urgent notice informing advocates that no court work would be conducted during the day. Citing safety concerns, it advised all members of the Bar to vacate the court premises until further instructions immediately.

    The Association also requested the Learned District and Sessions Judge, Gurugram, to adjourn all cases listed for July 31 and grant fresh dates of hearing. Advocates were urged to cooperate with the authorities as precautionary measures were put in place.

    Security Measures Initiated at Court Complex

    The threat prompted an immediate response within the court complex, disrupting the day’s judicial proceedings. Security personnel were expected to carry out standard inspection and verification procedures to ensure the safety of litigants, lawyers, judicial officers, and court staff.
