    About the Role

    The Chambers is looking for Chamber Junior Advocates and Interns. 

    Roles and Responsibilities

    It is expected that applicants for the chamber junior position will have experience in matters related to Arbitration, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Commercial Disputes in the Calcutta High Court, Land and Property Disputes, Writ Matters before the Calcutta High Court, and other disputes in various courts in Calcutta. Applicants for internship should have a demonstrated interest in litigation. 

    Eligibility Criteria

    Applicant for Chamber Juniors should be already enrolled with the Bar and should preferably have 1+ year of experience. Interns should be in the 3rd, 4th or 5th year of a 5-year integrated law course, or the 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. course

    Number of Vacancies

    3 Chamber Juniors; Interns on a rolling basis: 

    Salary

    For Chamber Juniors, salary as per market standards and experience. Additionally, the juniors will be given the freedom and office logistics support to do their personal matters; Interns will be paid a stipend.
