    Reason: SLP(Crl.) Nos.7224-7225/2026 1
UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
                                    O R D E R

    1. The petitioners have been denied anticipatory bail by the
High Court in connection with FIR No. 104 of 2023 dated
16.09.2023 registered with Police Station Dhurki,
District Garhwa for the offence punishable under Sections
    120B
    , 420, 467, 468, 471, 472, 473, and 474 of the Indian
    Penal Code (for short “IPC”).

    2. The petitioners are accused of entering into a criminal
conspiracy with the co-accused, by which the
complainant’s ancestral property was allegedly illegally
transferred to some of the accused who had created forged
sale deeds, on the basis of which the first petitioner –
in his capacity as a Revenue Karamchari – transferred the
said ancestral properties, and also effected online
mutations. The second petitioner – in his capacity as
Circle Inspector – is also accused of participating in
    the said conspiracy.

    3. A chargesheet has been filed in this case, in which it is
recorded that the investigation found that multiple
online mutation orders were obtained from Circle Office,
Dhurki on the basis of the forged sale deeds.

    4. Notice was issued on 24.04.2026, when it was directed
that no coercive steps should be taken against the
petitioners, in addition to the direction to the
petitioners to appear before the Investigating Officer

    SLP(Crl.) Nos.7224-7225/2026 2
    (for short, “I.O.”) on 27.04.2026.

    5. We heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well
as the learned Counsel for the respondent-State of
    Jharkhand.

    6. The petitioners are revenue officers who are said to have
colluded with the other accused, and they are not working
in the offices where the offence is alleged to have been
committed. Since they are co-operating with the
investigation, we are of the opinion that they can be
released on anticipatory bail, on the condition that
whenever they are summoned, they shall appear before the
I.O. and shall co-operate with the investigation.

    7. We order that in the event of arrest of the petitioners
in connection with the offence enumerated above, they
shall be released on bail, subject to the terms and
conditions that the I.O. may deem fit to impose.

    8. Once the petitioners are released on bail by the I.O., on
directions issued by the I.O. or summons issued by the
jurisdictional court, the petitioners shall appear before
the trial court and furnish fresh bail bonds and ensure
    due appearance in the trial.

    9. With the aforesaid, these petitions stand disposed of.

    10. Pending applications, if any, also stands disposed of.
