    passed by learned 8th Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special

    SPONSORED

    Judge for NDPS Cases at Bhojpur, Ara (hereinafter referred to as

    the ‘learned trial court’) in N.D.P.S. Case No. 06 of 2021 arising

    out of NCB Case No. 01 of 2021 for the offences punishable under

    Sections 20(b)(ii)(c) and Section 25 of the Narcotic Drugs and

    Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (in short ‘NDPS Act’) and has

    been ordered to undergo fifteen years rigorous imprisonment with

    a fine of Rs.1,00,000/- under Section 20(b)(ii)(c) NDPS Act and in

    default of payment of fine, they will have to further undergo six

    months’ imprisonment. For the offence punishable under Section

    25 read with Section 8 of the NDPS Act, they have been sentenced

    to undergo fifteen years rigorous imprisonment with a fine of

    Rs.1,00,000/- and in default of payment of fine, they will have to

    further undergo six months’ imprisonment. Both the sentences are

    to run concurrently.
