1. Present second petition has been filed under Section 483 of the
Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for grant of
regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.01 dated 2.1.2025, under
Sections 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985
(Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on), registered at Police Station
Mehna, District Moga.
2. The gravamen of the FIR in question pertains to recovery of
5.85 grams of etizolam, from co-accused Tirath Singh, who was
apprehended by the police during patrol and the petitioner was nominated
in the present case on the disclosure of the said co-accused.
