8th Arun Jaitley International Insolvency Moot, 6th-8th March 2026 at CTCL – National Law University Delhi

The Centre for Transnational Commercial Law at National Law University, Delhi, in collaboration with INSOL India, Insolvency Law Academy, supported by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) and the UNCITRAL RCAP, is hosting the 8th Arun Jaitley International Insolvency and Bankruptcy Moot, from 6-8 March 2026, at its campus at sector 14 Dwarka, New Delhi-110078. 

Arun Jaitley International Insolvency and Bankruptcy Moot is the first International Moot in India curated on the subject of insolvency after the enactment of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC).  This year the Moot Proposition is based on corporate and cross-border insolvency.  Enclosed are the sessions schedule, brochure, Moot Proposition. The proposition presupposes that India has adopted the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency, 1997.  This year we have a huge participation from 36 law schools across India out of which 16 shortlisted teams  are competing with each other, and a winner will be adjudged after the finals on 8th March 2026. The finals will be adjudicated by leading insolvency lawyers; adjudicators for other rounds are practitioners and registered insolvency professionals.
