  • Filing & Examination: Step-by-step walkthrough from Application to Examination Report.
  • Overcoming Objections: Drafting responses to refusals under Section 9 (Absolute) and Section 11 (Relative) grounds.
  • Post-Examination: Handling Hearings and Advertisement in the Journal.
  • Portfolio Strategy: Building and auditing a trademark portfolio for corporate clients; Basics of International Registration (Madrid Protocol).

Session 2: Brand Protection Enforcement, Anti-Counterfeiting & Dispute Resolution

  • Differentiating Infringement (Registered) vs. Passing Off (Unregistered).
  • Analysing “Deceptive Similarity” and “Likelihood of Confusion”
  • Pre-Litigation: Drafting effective Cease and Desist Notices and User Affidavits.
  • Civil Remedies: Securing Interim Injunctions and John Doe (Ashok Kumar) Orders.
  • Criminal & Digital: Conducting Anti-Counterfeiting Raids (Police complaints) and handling Takedowns on E-commerce/Social Media platforms.

Module 2: Copyright & Media Laws

Session 3: Copyright Fundamentals
