About the Organiser

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat (DBRANLU) is the 23rd National Law University in India, established in 2012 under the State Legislature Act No. 15 of 2012.

Located in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Rai, Sonepat, the University offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. programmes. DBRANLU is committed to imparting advanced legal education, promoting constitutional values, and fostering practical legal skills through advocacy-oriented academic initiatives.

Eligibility

Students enrolled in three year LL.B. programme or five year integrated LL.B. programme at any bonafide college/institution/university across the country are eligible to participate. Not more than two teams shall represent an institution.

  • Last date for seeking clarifications: February 26th, 2026
  • Release of clarifications: February 28th, 2026
  • Last date for soft copy submission of memorials: March 4th, 2026
  • Announcement of qualified teams: March 6th, 2026
  • Inaugural Session, Registration and Draw of Lots: March 13th, 2026
  • Preliminary & Quarter-Final Rounds: March 14th, 2026
  • Semi-Finals, Finals & Valedictory Ceremony: March 15th, 2026

Fee Details

  • Initial Registration / Memorial Clearance Fee: INR 1,500
  • Fee after Memorial Qualification:
    • INR 5,000 (with accommodation)
    • INR 1,500 (without accommodation)

  • Winner: INR 51,000 + Trophy + Certificate
  • Runner-Up: INR 31,000 + Trophy + Certificate
  • 2nd Runner-Up: INR 21,000 + Trophy + Certificate
  • Best Speaker: INR 11,000 + Certificate
