Ahmedabad: The solid waste management teams of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) sealed 15 units in different parts of the city on Friday.
The officials of the North-West zone of the AMC inspected 350 units in different areas on Friday, issuing notices to 229 for public littering. In Ghatlodia, one unit was sealed, and a fine of Rs 1.37 lakh was collected.
In the south zone, the AMC officials inspected 243 units on Friday, issuing notices to 179 for public littering. A total of 14 units were sealed for public littering in the south zone — 10 in Indrapuri, one in Maninagar, and three in Behrampura, with fines amounting to Rs 58,000.
