 14-Day Rail-Yatra for Spreading G20 Awareness to Foster Global Entrepreneurship

A 14-day-long ‘Rail Yatra’ has been organized with 450 participants to spread the message and awareness of the G20 summit in New Delhi. Jagriti Sewa Sansthan has tagged the initiative in collaboration with the G20 startup for inclusivity.

As per the release, the Yatra will promote the five pillars of the Delhi Declaration, which include inclusive growth, green development, technological transformation and digital public infrastructure, women’s empowerment, and culture to reform. – “This initiative mirrors our focus on creating a diverse and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem, driving economic growth and social progress.”

– “We are happy to collaborate with the Jagriti G20 Start-up20 Yatra, as it resonates deeply with SBI’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship in the country and participating in Women-led developmental initiatives,” SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara was quoted as saying in the release.

Being refined over the years, the Jagriti Yatra has been running for over 15 years and has also been imitated successfully in four other countries. Motivated by the initiatives, “Yatris” (Travelers) is one of the growing community of entrepreneurs in India as well as abroad. Participants of the Yatra will gain exposure to the standards of international start-up systems, where they will gain knowledge of inclusive practices and global networking.

This opportunity will expand horizons, promote learning from various perspectives, and help cross-border connections. In this 14-day program, aspirant entrepreneurs, as well as startups, will get the opportunity to associate, collaborate and get actionable directions. These events will be held in seven mega cities planned across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Varanasi, Deoria, Delhi (two events), and Gandhinagar to amplify the critical aspects of the G20 Summit.

“This Yatra is being supported by SIDBI as a ‘Green Partner, which has prioritized digitization and greening the enterprise ecosystem. By supporting this train journey, SIDBI intends to promote “Green Culture” and “Sustainability” among youths and start-ups, including G20 participants,” said Sivasubramanian Ramann, CMD at SIDBI.

The main aim is to prioritize building digital and greener infrastructure. Carbon neutralization and net zero targets were one of the primary missions taken up during the sidelines of the G20 Summit. Hence, creating social and economic awareness is what the 450 Participants, including 70 from the G20 nations.

“This initiative mirrors our focus on creating a diverse and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem, driving economic growth and social progress,” as the initiative has been taken to shape the future of entrepreneurship in the new and glorious India.
