About University of Mumbai

The University of Mumbai (known earlier as University of Bombay) is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India. It was established in 1857 consequent upon “Wood’s Education Dispatch”, and it is one amongst the first three Universities in India.

As a sequel to the change in the name of the city from Bombay to Mumbai, the name of the University has been changed from “University of Bombay” to “University of Mumbai”, vide notification issued by the Government of Maharashtra and published in the Government Gazette dated 4th September, 1996. The University was accorded 5 star status in 2001 & ‘A++’ grade status in April 2017 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

About IFIM College

IFIM was established in 1995 by the DSIJ (Dalal Street Investment Journal) Group and was promoted by the Centre for Developmental Education (CDE). Over the years, the IFIM Group has carved a niche for itself as a front-runner for quality education in India. The Mission of IFIM is to nurture holistic, socially responsible and continuously employable professionals.

About the Seminar

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence is redefining the global legal, economic, and technological landscape. As digital ecosystems expand across borders, critical questions arise concerning digital sovereignty, intellectual property rights, equitable access to knowledge, and the protection of human rights.

This one-day online seminar aims to provide a platform for academicians, researchers, legal professionals, and policymakers to engage in meaningful dialogue.

The seminar explores the evolving relationship between Artificial Intelligence, intellectual property, and global equity, fostering interdisciplinary perspectives and encouraging innovative research addressing contemporary global challenges.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract: 250 – 300 words.
  • Keywords: 3 – 5 keywords required.
  • Citation Style: Strictly follow The Bluebook (Latest Edition)
  • Format: MS Word, Times New Roman, 12pt, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Originality: All papers must be original and subject to a plagiarism and AI check.
