Ahmedabad: A 26-year-old man from the Mirzapur area of the city filed a complaint with Shahpur police on Sunday, stating that two men attempted to kill him after he fell on one of them when he was hit by some object.
Numer Shaikh, a daily wager from Gamer Master Chawl, said in his FIR with Shahpur police that he went to a tea stall in Mirzapur where the accused, Zahirduddin Gyasuddin, and his aide, Samir Javed, were present.
Shaikh said that when he was moving nearby them, he was hit by some object and fell on Javed. This irked Javed, who began abusing him and Gyasuddin hit Shaikh with a rod on his face. Shaikh began fleeing from them, and they chased and caught him. Shaikh said that Gyasuddin drew a knife with which he tried to stab Shaikh in his chest. Shaikh said that he suffered injuries to his hands as he held the knife. Shahpur police registered a complaint against Gyasuddin and Javed. tnn
