The anonymous sender demanded of $30,000, warning that failure to comply would result in the detonation of the bombs. The school administration took immediate action, sending students back home who came to attend classes. Parents were asked to pick up their children as a precautionary measure.
The email also contained a disturbing and menacing tone, with the sender stating, “You all deserve to suffer and lose limbs.” A Delhi Fire Services officer confirmed that fire tenders were dispatched to the affected schools: G.D.
