Allu Arjun’s emotional reunion with his family after his release from Chanchalguda Jail has sparked a wave of support across the film industry, with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu joining those expressing solidarity.
The Pushpa 2 star, who was arrested on December 14 in connection with a tragic stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, was granted interim bail.

Allu Arjun returned home after spending a night in jail, and a heartwarming video capturing his reunion with his wife Sneha Reddy and their children went viral. In the clip, Sneha breaks down in tears as she hugs Allu Arjun, a moment that resonated deeply with many, including Samantha. Taking to her Instagram handle, Samantha shared the emotional video, writing, “I’m not crying, okay. @alluarjunonline @allusnehareddy,” showcasing her support for the family.
The tragic incident occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule, where thousands of fans gathered outside the Sandhya Theatre. The chaos led to a stampede, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old woman and injuries to her 8-year-old son. Addressing the media after his release, Allu Arjun clarified his position, saying, “It was purely accidental and unintentional… I have been going to the same theatre for the last 20 years, and nothing like this has ever happened. I should reserve my comments because I don’t want to tamper with the case.”
Allu Arjun expressed his deep remorse over the incident, offering condolences to the affected family and emphasizing his support. He also stressed that he had no direct involvement in the tragic turn of events, as he was inside the theatre when the chaos unfolded.
Following his release, Allu Arjun received overwhelming support from the Telugu film industry. Prominent actors like Rana Daggubati, Vijay Deverakonda, and Naga Chaitanya visited his Jubilee Hills residence to offer moral encouragement. Rana Daggubati was among the first to check on Allu Arjun, while Vijay Deverakonda and Naga Chaitanya’s presence further highlighted the camaraderie in Tollywood.
