Carol explained that the pool was usually heated, and Julian had assumed it was as usual. The cold shock from the water reportedly caused the fatal haemorrhage. She wrote, “I am heartbroken to share that we lost my wonderful husband, Julian, today, December 9. He was perfectly fit but developed a massive brain haemorrhage after jumping into a freezing pool yesterday. Our hearts are aching.”
The 70-year-old actress, who had been married to Julian for 47 years and known him for 56, also shared that the family had decided to delay the funeral until after Christmas to focus on the festive season. She expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of support, asking for patience as she steps away from social media to grieve.
