    About the Advanced Certificate Course

    The Advanced Certificate Course on Cybercrime & Digital Justice examines cybercrime, digital justice, AI-assisted offences, digital evidence, data protection, platform accountability, and emerging AI governance.

    The course will examine these subjects under Indian laws, including:

    • Information Technology Act, 2000
    • Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
    • Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023
    • Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

    Course Objectives

    The course seeks to:

    1. Examine cybercrime and emerging threats.
    2. Analyse India’s legal framework.
    3. Understand digital evidence and investigations.
    4. Explore artificial intelligence and cyber offences.
    5. Assess privacy, data protection, and platform accountability.
    6. Examine digital justice.
    7. Evaluate the future of cyber governance.

    Course Structure

    The Advanced Certificate Course will comprise the following seven modules:

    • Module II: Legal Framework
    • Module III: Digital Forensics
    • Module IV: AI & Emerging Technologies
    • Module V: Data Protection
    • Module VI: Digital Justice
    • Module VII: Cyber Governance

    Registration Fee

    • Students and Research Scholars: ₹500

    Assessment and Certification

    The assessment will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions.

    Participants must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the assessment and maintain at least 75% attendance to qualify for certification.

    Participation Guidelines

    • Participants are expected to join the sessions at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
    • Participants must maintain punctuality throughout the programme.
    • Attendance will be monitored daily.
    • Participants must attend the sessions regularly to become eligible for the certificate of participation or completion.
