Aadar Jain, grandson of legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor, and Alekha Advani, who had their roka ceremony on November 23, are set to tie the knot next year. BT has learnt that the couple has asked their friends and family to block their dates for the wedding celebrations on February 20-21. The wedding is likely to take place in Mumbai. The two have known each other since childhood. We reached out to Aadar for a comment, but he didn’t respond to our query till the time of going to press.
Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor attended the Roka. Aadar Jain and Alekhya Advani’s romance has its roots in a lifelong friendship, with the two having known each other since childhood. However, it wasn’t until 2023, following Aadar’s split from Tara Sutaria, that they decided to take their relationship to the next level and explore the possibility of love.
Earlier in an interview Aadar spoke about relationships. In a candid conversation with Zoom, Aadar Jain shared his thoughts on the contrasting approaches celebrities take when it comes to their relationships, with some preferring to keep theirs under wraps, while others openly flaunt their romance. “Everyone is different, so you can’t do what other people do. They have their own personal choices. If they want to hide something, they have their own personal reasons for it. If they want to talk about something that’s their own choice, but there’s no pressure that because some people are doing it, you have to do it,” Aadar had said.
