For 3rd time in a week, Delhi schools get bomb threats

NEW DELHI: A day after over 30 schools in Delhi received bomb threats, similar emails targeted several institutions on Saturday, according to Delhi Police.

“Today again Delhi Schools including DPS RK Puram, Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj received a bomb threat email,” police reported.
Authorities stated that the schools received a group email at 6:12 am from an address identified as childrenofallah@outlook.com, with the sender’s name listed as Barry Allah.
Upon receiving the threats, the schools immediately alerted the police. Bomb detection teams, along with fire officials, were dispatched to the locations, but no suspicious items have been found so far, officials confirmed.
The bomb threat email read: “Allah sees your efforts to resist his punishment. But they are futile. For no mortal being can escape the judgement of Allah. The Prophet Mohammed declares all who go against Allah enemies to the world. We see your attempt to stop us. It will not work. The Prophet Mohammed has allowed the children to burn in the sacred flame of Allah,” as quoted by news agency ANI.
It further stated, “On Saturday where students may not be there in your buildings, is when the buildings shall be brought down. Our bomb vests are blessed by the Prophet Muhammad. They shall not fail their goal. Our children are brave servants of Allah. They shall complete their task.”
Bomb threats on Friday
Approximately 30 private schools in the city received bomb threat emails on Friday, marking the second such incident this week. A similar situation occurred on December 9, when 44 schools were targeted with hoax bomb threats.
The emails warned of potential explosions on December 13 and 14, stating, “there are many explosives on your school premises” powerful enough to “destroy the buildings and harm people.”
The message, reportedly sent by a dark web group, highlighted security vulnerabilities in schools, specifically pointing out “similar start-to-end school timings” and insufficient bag checks at entry points.
