Bobby Deol once shared how he grew up when his dad, Dharmendra, was always busy and only had a few hours to spend with him.
In an interview with Humans of Bombay earlier this year, Bobby explained that it was normal at the time because Dharmendra came from a small town, where life and society were very different from the city. Bobby mentioned that while his father wasn’t strict, he was also not a friend during his childhood due to being very busy with work. He would only get to see him for a few hours, either late at night or early in the morning.
The actor also shared that as his parents have gotten older, the roles have reversed. He explained that when he was growing up, it wasn’t fear but respect that shaped his relationship with them. However, communication was not as easy back then. Now, as they age and become more vulnerable, it’s his turn to take care of them, reflecting the natural cycle of life.
Earlier, Bobby Deol posted photos on Instagram, thanking fans for their support. He wrote, “Celebrating one year of #Animal! Abrar’s journey brought me closer to all of you and gave me love, blessings, and opportunities. Thank you for making this one so special for me.”
