Ahmedabad: Fatal autorickshaw accident claims life in ahmedabad near gota bus stop
Ahmedabad: A 40-year-old man died after being hit by an autorickshaw near Gota AMTS bus stop on Friday afternoon. According to a complaint filed with A Division traffic police, Sanjay Patni, a resident of Vasantnagar Township in Gota, was waiting for a bus when the speeding autorickshaw hit him.
Patni suffered severe head injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. The rickshaw driver fled from the accident spot.
Traffic police registered a case of causing death by negligence and rash driving under the BNS Act and the Motor Vehicle Act against an unknown man and started an investigation.
